Describe your relevant work history, awards, and accomplishments in 300 words or less.
I started my own organization, The Women Ambassadors Forum, when I was only 19 years old. I partnered with a Harvard professor to develop a 5 day program designed for aspiring leaders wanting to start movements in their countries. The organization grew to having a global audience.
What do you love about the Tampa Bay area?
I moved to Tampa only 8 months ago, where I runs Launchcode as the director for Tampa. With only 8 months of being here, I partnered with Synapse to plan a pre-conference targeted to women to ensure women are included in the greater innovation conversation.
What are some of your favorite things to do around town when you aren’t working?
I love working out in Camp Tampa, running on Bayshore Boulevard, eating at Fresh Kitchen, going to a Lightning game or a concert.
How do you give your time back in the community?
I am planning two conferences, one in partnership with Synapse and supported by the Vinik Foundation to include women in the greater innovation conversation and one with Embarc Collective to bring to Tampa a conference for female leaders from across the world.
Tell us about the tech project that you are most proud of.
Partnering with Synapse will allow other women change the innovation conversation. Running Launchcode in Tampa, my team and I have a 20 week long course taught for free to help match talent with opportunities. Trying to fill the tech talent gap!
