She got her start working for the luxury eyewear company, illesteva, in NYC where she defined the brand’s digital identity across social media, advertising, and their eCommerce website. After growing their Instagram to over 250k followers organically, she learned the art of posting high quality, original content.
Moving to Tampa, Alanna worked at Spark on their social media team and worked closely with clients in order to help define their brand’s aesthetic and strategy on social media and live events. Some of her clients included Visit Florida, Franklin Manor, and the Dali Museum.
Having been at Haneke Design for the past 2 years, she had the great opportunity of defining the Haneke Design approach to digital marketing which is now the newest service offerings to their client base which ranges from Fortune 500 companies all the way to venture backed startups.
What do you love about the Tampa Bay area?
Alanna loves when people say “Tampa never used to be like this” or “Tampa is changing so much!”
There is a Renaissance happening in the Tampa Bay area that is unlike we have ever seen. The thriving tech, culinary, and talent that we are breading in Tampa is incredible. It is a gem for startups and established businesses alike, making it the perfect place to call home.
What are some of your favorite things to do around town when you aren’t working?
With so many amazing things to do in Tampa, Alanna is always looking to support the local economy. She prefers to shop local and dine at Tampa-establishments as opposed to chains.
Living in South Tampa, it’s just a hop, skip and jump across the Bay where she and her fiancé take their dog to St. Petersburg’s many breweries, such as Green Bench, and enjoy the laid back lifestyle while soaking up the sun.
How do you give your time back in the community?
Alanna is the point of contact and responsible for leading up all of the volunteer efforts at Haneke Design. She has been an integral player in the Think Big for Kids initiative with the Boys and Girls Club to teach middle and high school kids about mobile app design.
She also organizes Haneke Design’s involvement with the Metropolitan Ministries to volunteer as a company in order to support their mission to give hope to the homeless.
